These Terms govern your access to and use of the StakeholderConnect platform. By using the Platform you agree to them.
By registering for or using StakeholderConnect (the "Platform"), operated from South Africa, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Platform.
Access is granted by invitation or approved self-service request. You must provide accurate registration details. Account roles (e.g. Administrator, Programme Manager, Project Manager, Social Facilitator, Contractor, Consultant) are assigned by authorised users and determine the data and actions available to you. You may not share your credentials or attempt to elevate your own role.
The Platform is provided to manage infrastructure project stakeholders, compliance documentation, and related workflows. You may not use it to upload unlawful content, attempt to access data you are not authorised to view, interfere with the Platform's security, or resell access without permission.
You retain ownership of the project data and documents you submit. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of content you upload. StakeholderConnect processes data in line with our Privacy Policy and POPIA Notice.
Role-based access control and row-level security are enforced at the data layer. Attempting to circumvent these controls, or to access another user's or project's data by manipulating identifiers, is a material breach of these Terms and may result in suspension and legal action.
We strive to keep the Platform available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, upgrades, and events outside our control may cause downtime. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from service unavailability.
The Platform, its software, branding, and design are owned by StakeholderConnect and its licensors. No rights are granted except as set out here. Your uploaded content remains yours.
Some features may require a paid plan. Fees, if any, will be communicated before activation. Taxes (including South African VAT where applicable) apply.
You may stop using the Platform at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, security reasons, or at an administrator's direction. On termination, your data is handled per our retention and recovery policies.
To the extent permitted by South African law, StakeholderConnect's liability is limited to the fees paid in the preceding 12 months. We are not liable for loss of profits, data, or business arising from use of the Platform.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated to active users. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
